The rate of money-related ritual killings in the country is becoming rampant in recent times. Yesterday, reports revealed how a couple and six other people lured a 26-year-old woman to her man friend's house, strangled her to death, and dismembered her body. Her legs were reportedly sold for N30,000, while her heart was sold for N50,000. Instances such as this have been blamed on the economic downturn ravaging the country. However, Nigeria isn't the only country on the globe struggling to stabilize its economy. But why is this menace prevalent in the country? It should be noted that society seems to glorify the rich, irrespective of their sources of income.
